Kenya Premier League secretariat says even if Tusker win the league this weekend they will have to wait till the last day of the league to lift the title.
Tusker are four points clear heading to the penultimate stage and a win over AFC Leopards will secure an 11th league title but KPL says the trophy will not be in Nakuru.
Second-placed and defending champions Gor Mahia will clash with Tusker on last day of the league at the Nyayo National stadium where the trophy will be present.
Tusker only need to match Gor Mahia’s results this weekend with the latter taking on Muhoroni Youth to seal the win but a defeat to Ingwe will prolong the race to the last day.
