Game of Thrones is by far one of the most popular series in the country together with the rest of the world. Ps: If you have never watched Game of Thrones, i highly, highly, recommend that you do. That said, Jaime lannister aka the king slayer is slated to come to the 254 on the 5th of this month.
The actor, whose real name is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador and will be in the country as part of a regional tournament for women supporting the United Nations 17 Global Goals dubbed ‘Global Goals World Cup’ (GGWCup).
The tournament, organized by Safaricom, The Royal Danish Embassy, Save the Children, UNDP and Eir-Socceris set to have 24 teams of passionate women who will be assembled to compete and the winning team will get a spot in the global final to be held in New York City in September 2017. Nikolaj is set to referee the tournament.
About the tournament, Ulla Tørnæs, Denmark’s Minister for Development Cooperation said:
The Danish government is proudly supporting Global Goals World Cup. The 17 global goals, including their recognition of gender equality, are fundamental for our international engagement. It is indeed worth playing for. In Kenya, the Danish government for many years has supported women empowerment, women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights – and it is still a very important focus. I am happy to invite our partners to the tournament, playing for fun, creating awareness for the millions of women and girls in Kenya for whom the fight for their rights is deadly serious.
And Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore added:
The 17 UN global goals for sustainable development are a must win battle for our generation. Winning this battle requires an extraordinary and unified effort from governments, NGOs, private companies and civil societies, but the real key to success is that we – the people – get engaged and take action.
GGWCup originated in Copenhagen, Denmark and is rapidly spreading to all continents of the world. It was initiated and executed by Danish Soccer organization Eir-Soccer. Its aim is to utilize the beauty of sport to unite and inspire individuals all over the world to take positive actions.
After giving us the first look of Ocean’s Eight on set, Rihanna reveals her “Bates Motel” character Marion Crane.
Riri features in a new trailer for the drama’s final season where it seems the main character Norman Bates is spying on her in the shower.
In the film, Crane stole her boss’ money and arrived at Bates Motel while evading law enforcement. She was killed in the film’s first act, but this version of Crane will be more detailed, according to executive producer Kerry Erin.
“We’re taking threads of that story and definitely using them so it’s recognizable, it’s just where we go with it is very different,” Ehrin told EW. “It’s tough to be in a situation where you’re in love with a guy, and for whatever reason, he keeps stalling. You still have all this hot sex with him, and he’s saying he loves you, but he’s stalling. The internal story of that, for a woman, is a really interesting one. We never really got to see that. In Psycho, you just see the outside of that more. It was trying to do a story about a contemporary woman with some edge, with some expectations, who isn’t perfect, who isn’t always perfectly sweet, who is in that situation, but we’re rooting for her to get what she wants.”
Rihanna will appear in multiple episodes. Make sure you watch it when it returns for its final season on Monday, Feb. 20.

One of my favorite Television series, Quantico is back for a whole new season..yey!
There is a lot of unfinished business to be addressed this season. At the end of last season, heroine Alex Parrish (played by Priyanka Chopra) was fired by the FBI after saving millions of lives and exposing a traitor in the organization. But before she could even say, “I ain’t sorry,” she was offered a new job with the CIA. Now, Alex is tasked with preventing the next national catastrophe, and as you’ll see in the trailer below, everyone is a suspect.
“We decided we’re not going to hold the answers to questions until the end and that we’re going to look at it more like a character study. “It’s less about, ‘Who is it?’ and more about, ‘How can you stop it?” Explains EP Josh Safran while speaking to THR.
A few months ago, Nina Dobrev (as Ellena Gilbert) announced her departure from the exciting CW series The Vampire Diaries. We thought it couldn’t get any worse but now Kat Graham (as Bonnie Bennett) has announced that she will be leaving the show.
But not anytime soon at least.
In an exclusive chat with Us Weekly at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday, Graham said that Season 8 will mark her final run as Bonnie Bennett. “I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family,” Graham told the magazine.
It remains unclear just how many episodes will comprise Season 8 and it will be a true shock if The Vampire Diaries is even around for a ninth season after Graham leaves.
It’s probably about time this show ends, don’t you think?
