Omarion may not be releasing the promised Reasons album this year but his new track “#Nudes” is definitely holding us over.
“#Nudes” is a sensual R&B jam that finds Omarion asking a girl to DM him some Nudes. It is not yet confirmed whether or not the track will be on the album but 2018 sure does look promising for the artist.
Finally, an artist gets a taste of his own medicine!
Omarion, who had a performance in Namibia got it pretty rough when he pulled out of an appearance at a press conference.
According to reports, Omarion was supposed to be part of a press conference prior to his performance but he did not show up. His press run was part of his agreement for the show but his manager cited exhaustion from his flight as a reason for the no-show.
Omarion’s Namibian fans were not impressed as they boycotted the event, causing the singer to perform with very few people in attendance.
The former B2K singer later posted a video of the concert captioning ‘As long as you had a good time’
The funny thing is, Omarion hasn’t really been a big deal since his music group B2K fell out yet he ignored Lil Fizz in his attempt to get the group back together.
He may be down in South Africa enjoying himself at South Africa’s rapper Emtee’s album launch tour but the party mood might be dying down a little thanks to these news.
Now reports online state that Omarion and DJ Mustard’s ‘Post to be’ was a rip off of Chris Brown and Akon’s ‘Came to Do’, which is then a bit confusing because Chris Brown was on the song with Omarion right?
Well a deeper look into this showed us that the song ‘Came to Do’, though Chris Brown’s is partly owned by a rights management company (BMG)who acquired an estimated 50% shared rights from the jam’s original producer.
The law suit claims that since the jam is a “copy” of Chris’ jam (which they now partly own), they are to be paid an amount of about $300,000 (or possibly more) and are even pushing to limit Omarion getting paid for any airplay the song receives.
Sounds a little drastic to me. Especially seeing as how both of these songs do not sound the same to me but hey, Marvin Gaye’s estate won the ‘Blurred Lines’ lawsuit on the fact that the song copied a “feeling” synonymous with a popular Marvin Gaye song so really, the ending of this story is anyone’s call.
Omarion’s Instagram posts make him the ultimate Man Crush Monday and yes, it helps to know that he is back on the market.
This former B2K singer’s recent break up with baby mother Apryl Jones was made known thanks to an IG Post made by Apryl that said; Single… the end…
Well damn. The two have been together for quite some time and while those are sad news, a newly single Omarion shows off some body muscle and tats on his personal IG. (Click on photo to watch the video)
The song has taken the world by storm, and we have a feeling the video is going to be just as popular!
Omarion’s hit single Post To Be featuring Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko has been climbing up the charts since it’s release way back in November of last year (reaching number 24 on the Billboard R&B List). The popular song finally has a video and if you are a fan of either Omarion’s or Chris Brown’s dance moves, then you are in for a treat.
The song is set to feature on Omarion’s soon to be released album titled Sex Playlist. Check out Omarion & Chris Brown’s dance off below:
