It’s Good Vibes Only With M.O, Mr. Eazy & Lotto Boyz on ROTW

If you’re all about staying away from bad vibes this year, then this is definitely the anthem for you.

British girl group M.O teamed up with Naija singer Mr. Eazi and UK crew Lotto Boyz for the single ‘Bad Vibes’, which speaks intently on avoiding bad vibes with a chorus that reads;

Go away, go away, go away, go away
If you’re only gonna bring bad vibe, bad vibe, bad vibe, bad vibes
You can stay, you can stay, you can come over here
If you know how to have good time, good time, good time, good time

Don’t want none of that, no, none of that
Don’t want none of that, no, none of that, no
Don’t want none of your bad vibe, bad vibe, bad vibes
Don’t want none of that, no, none of that
Don’t want none of that, no, none of that, no
Don’t want none of your bad vibe, bad vibe, bad vibes

Well good times are clearly depicted in the colorful video which dropped on GRM Daily and because we are also all about staying as far away from bad vibes as possible, this single takes over ROTW from Culture II creators Migos and their ‘Superstar’ single.

Watch Roc Nation Signee Tiwa Savage’s Epic New Album Teaser

This past year, Tiwa Savage released a barrage of hits and we got to know her a lot better .

Within the year, news of her tremulous marriage hit the scene but she managed to quickly douse those talks by coming out with even more hits and then getting signed by Jay Z’s massive record label Roc Nation.

Tiwa Savage has pretty much collaborated with every massive star from Africa (and beyond it) including Wizkid and Busy Signal, which of course leaves us wondering just how much more massive her next music collection will be like.

Turns out, we won’t be waiting much longer as Tiwa Savage herself teased her upcoming release posting;

In case you didn’t know, we KILLED it this year
Can’t stop, Won’t stop

Diplo Details One Of His Most Difficult DJing Gig

He is one third of iconic crew Major Lazer.

Diplo is a name synonymous to big hits and this beat maestro recently opened up about a gig he and fellow Major Lazer crew members had to host in Lagos Nigeria.

As reported on MTV Base, Diplo’s recent interview on GQ magazine has him detailing an outdoor festival in Lagos where the sound reportedly blew during a thunderstorm forcing him to banter with the crowd for a good hour while they attempted to kickstart the sound again.

The deejay and producer who’ has pretty much gigged in most of the world, described that gig as one of the hardest yet, recalling explaining to Walshy fire (fellow Major Lazer member) that Nigeria is where you live for die as a deejay, likening it to a ‘deejay Olympics’.

Diplo was recently starred as a male video vixen in the now viral video to Charlie XCX’s ‘Boys’ alongside industry heavy weights Charlie Push, Ty Dollar $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Mark Ronson among others.

Here’s the exclusive one on one G Money had with Walshy Fire on HBR weekday breakfast show GMITM (G Money in the morning).

Davido’s Anticipated Rae Ssremurd & Young Thug Collabo #ROTW

It was once rumored to always be a race-to-the-top between Niaja emcees Davido and Wizkid.

Well, Wizkid’s got a number of chart topping international collabos and whether it’s in proof of their long lasting competition or not, Davido has only just also released another one of his international collabos and it’s already made it to be Record of the Week (ROTW).

Featuring Rae Ssremurd and Young Thug, this Sony signed star goes ham on the DJ Mustard produced beat worthy of the top position on any music chart, somegthing we already predict to happen.

Davido who has been in the country a number of times has had a few cross over hits before now, with artists from Africa like Mafikizolo and Diamond Platnumz as well American singer Tinashe.

The video to this brand new one, ‘Pere’ garnered over one million views in under 5 days and will now enjoy a week’s long airplay and bragging rights as HBR’s record of the week.

Ice Prince, Vanessa Mdee and… a Bed! (Pics)

It’s a classic East Africa meets West Africa situation and if we didn’t already know that these stars were already involved with other individuals, then a love affair would have been our most obvious conclusion.

Ice Prince and Vanessa Mdee surprised their combined instagram following of about 4 million people with photos of them cosying up on a bed in what looks like a music video shoot.

Could be a collabo or just a tease, either way, the two look great in these pics and could easily pass as a happy couple.

Vanessa only just released the music video to her latest hit ‘Cash Madame’ which is proving to be the video to beat and Ice Prince has that from ‘Jos To The World’ (JTTW) album.

Video! Tiwa Savage Hangs Out With Jay Z

Now a week ago, I shared a few insights into Tiwa Savage’s then rumored Roc Nation deal.

Word started going around that the ‘Kele Kele’ singer was signed to Hovi Hov’s label when word of her meeting with Roc Nation representatives started to spread.

Tiwa had made news in the recent past thanks to her anything-but-pleasant split from husband/ former manager T Billz and this definitely puts her in a more positive light.

Click here to watch them hanging out.

Congratulations Tiwa!
