The star who wears even more hats than just being a model was the event’s headlining act who did not disappoint, if the photos we were able to see online are anything to go by.

Mrs. Angela Martins, the Executive governor of Lagos state stated that,“Also, in choosing the host city, we considered factors such as the willingness to create value and deep brand equity not only for Nigerians but Africans. Also, there was the consideration of which state has the most motivation to host AFRIMA in line with its values; which has the strongest vision in tourism, culture and entertainment. Then, the state must have the most adequate facilities, surrounding infrastructure, security and tourist attraction to host the event and should have hosted successful events in the past that attracted both national and or global audiences as well as government’s responsiveness. Lovers of MTV Shuga can now breathe a sigh of relief because guess what! Series 4 will be airing on our screens pretty soon.
What’s more, if you loved Nick Mutuma’s character Leo, you can expect to see more of him on this series playing a major role. What however you may not expect is that they have changed up Leo a little bit. In stead of the “Mr. Nice Guy” that he was in series 1-3, we are going to be shown a totally “new” and “disturbing” side to him.
One Nigerian star that will be on MTV Shuga Series 4 is Emmanuel Ikubese, the reigning Mr. Nigeria who will continue to play the unlucky-in-love music promoter, Femi. In series 4, Femi who has been HIV positive for several years is more successful in his quest of love albeit with some difficulties.
Nick Mutuma coming back to the series is a way of maintaining the Kenyan heritage of MTV Shuga. The film will be shot in Lagos, Nigeria this March before hitting our screens in June.
