Muthoni Drummer Queen
As raw as any rapper could get,MDQ delivers thunderous bars in the track “Mine” over Kanye-resque production; making a statement with her latest release. The track allows you to be reacquainted with the sonically experimental tune and gets you excited about the album she’s dropping in April.
Rapper Femi One introduced us to a new dance style featured in her new track “Tippy toe” featuring fellow rapper Kristoff. The dance-infused track is pretty catchy definitely one that could light up the club scene. Have a listen and try the dance move:
Mayonde, Fena and Muthoni Drummer Queen
The three vocal queens came together and dropped “Kama Kawaida”. Mayonde’s fruity vocals, Fena’s over the top lyrics and MDQ’s jaw-dropping bars not forgetting Kagwe Mungai’s fierce production skills all make the song all so magical.
The accomplished singer, Habida, started her music career a few years back and has since won an MTV Mama Award, had 3 Channel O nominations, and several other recognitions. We did know she was expectant but what we did not know is the sex of her baby but now we do thanks to her. She wrote on instagram “I can’t wait to get back to this after i have my son…yes i’m having a boy!” after which her fans went on to congratulate her as do we.
