Big Kev was well known and loved by many in the entertainment scene having been the founder and head of True Blaq events that organized numerous concerts in Kenya.
Also known to many, was his fight with a brain tumor that saw Big Kev lose his sight and be hospitalized for the better part of the recent past.
While Kenyans continue to react to the news of his untimely demise, the entertainment community has come together to celebrate Big Kev’s legacy and to help raise money to help offset his hospital bill.
Among them was award winning group Sauti Sol who performed a most moving acoustic rendition to their hit song ‘Kuliko Jana’.
The video which was posted by Tallia Oyando on her instagram is but one of many other artists who attended the memorial and there will surely be many more set for the fund raising dinner organized by Kiza and HBR tonight (Thursday August 3rd).
