The Great Rift 10-aside tournament, popularly known as Nakuru 10s, happened over the Easter Weekend in Nakuru with so much taking place.
There was of course plenty of rugby from Friday to Sunday with beautiful people attending in all the days. Crowd seems to be getting back to rugby and things may be like in 2013 and 2014 where rugby was the real thing back then.
Nakuru 10s got those pretty babes who know how to kill it no wonder the tournament has remained relevant for that long.
Easter weekend means there are four free days to party in Nakuru and some of us have never visited our family during this time for the last four years due to Nakuru 10s. With Homeboyz entertainment providing music there was no reason to miss the event.
Hosts Nakuru RFC enjoyed massive support from the attending fans but did not have a very good day one as they fell to Homeboyz in the last pool match while their new side Menengai Oilers was terrorizing the likes of Kenya Harlequins.
Homeboyz put Kenya Cup disappointment aside to bag Nakuru 10s title as they beat defending champions Strathmore Leos 22-0. Homeboyz ran in four tries and one conversion as Leos failed to cross over against a side that had two of their former players.
Wanyore bagged plate courtesy of a 10-0 win over Impala Saracens, Kenya cup side Kabras Sugar beat Blak Blad 19-12 to win bowl while Egerton Wasps were shield winners after seeing off JKUAT Cougars 12-5.
