  • Bugzy Malone Takes Over #ROTW With Presumed Stormzy Diss

From his most recent (and I mean like three days ago) EP ‘King of the North’, Bugzy Malone takes over Record of the Week with his single ‘Through the night’ which samples a classic DJ Luck and MC Neat jam ‘Little Bit of Luck’.

This Grime emcee who hails from Manchester is creating waves with this single which is rumored to be a semi diss track dedicated to Stormzy.

On the track which, Bugzy spits, “Everybody stopped listening to his album after one week. Now your looking confused, looking at me, you sing now but you didn’t sing last week’. Adding, ” You wanna make a track for the gyaldem, cause the gyaldem love beauty and the beast’.

Notice he didn’t explicitly name Stormzy but UK Grime fans on twitter indicated that it could be the ‘Gang Signs and Prayer’ rapper posting;

The alluded beef with Chip was among the many that Chip has been involved in including the infamous Tinie Tempah one that we looked at in detail here.

According to Grime Daily, this alleged Stormy diss by Bugzy may have been as a result of Stormzy’s line in his song ‘Return of the Rucksack’ that says, “Man are getting killed by other MC’s then coming round here tryna start”. Adding, “Laughing stock for the year, what a laugh. Sending for MC’s can’t be your path”.

Diss or not, here’s Bugzy’s ‘Through The Night’.
