KCB recall Amonde, Homeboyz to miss Oluoch

KCB have recalled Kenya Sevens captain Andrew Amonde ahead of their crucial Kenya Cup round 13 tie with Homeboyz tomorrow at Ruaraka.

The bankers lead the log with 50 points, five ahead of second placed Kenya Harlequins and remain the only unbeaten side.

Amonde has been with the national sevens side but is available for only the 13th round of the league as he will be heading to Las Vegas in a week’s time.

They face a tricky Homeboyz side that has been unstoppable in recent days sitting fourth with 39 points and beat both Impala and Quins in a span of seven days.

From the side that put 50 points past struggling Strathmore Leos, Peter Karia makes way for George Asin at hooking so as Ian Indimuli for Nick Ongeri at lock.

Amonde replaces Rocky Aguko while scrum-half former Kenya Under 19 talisman Marlin Mukolwe is in for Michael Wanjala.

Homeboyz will miss the services of their vice-skipper Jeff Oluoch who is ruled out with a knock he picked against Mean Machine a week ago.
