Twitter Back At It With Kanye West’s Presidential Bid #Kanye2020

Donald Trump’s victory has reignited lots of things on twitter including Kanye West’s announcement for his candidacy for the 2020 presidential election at the 2015 MTV VMAs.

The buzz had died down after a while (probably because people were too busy keeping up with the campaigns) and now it’s back.

Flying Lotus, Sonny Digital, Questlove, and a horde of fans came together last night and this morning under the banner of #Kanye2020.

Kanye who often speaks his mind, spoke on his societal frustrations during an interview with BBC Radio 1 earlier this year.

“We are numb, we’re numb to 500 kids getting killed in Chicago a year, we’re numb to the fact that it was seven police shootings in the beginning of July,” he said. “I don’t have views on politics, I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive I’m going to try to do it.”

People seem optimistic that he could make to be the next president especially because just like Trump, he has zero experience in politics.
