Kenya Premier League Soka fans fun day will take place on Saturday November 29, 2016 at the City Stadium in Nairobi.
2016’s theme is ‘Every Fan Counts’ with the whole concept set to assure fans that sanity is back in the Kenyan football with their safity in the Stadia assured.
Up to 16 teams of both men and female fans from the KPL teams have confirmed their participation as well as corporate teams Football Kenya Federation, Soka and Sports Kenya.
Online football portal soka.co.ke, who supported the initiative last year, will for the second year running be the headline sponsors for this year’s event.
Hippos FC, Simbas, Mafisi, Biblas, Impalas, Swara, Nyati, Tigers, Rhinos, Ndovus, and Kenya Sport Journalists FC are some of the teams expected to battle it out during this year’s event.
“The last two editions have been successful and with a new dispensation, sanity is back in the local game and we hope to have as many fans as possible at the City Stadium on Saturday 26th November to celebrate the season that was,” Said Jeff Kinyanjui, the event manager.
